Korean Choson Dynasty, 19th Century

This large blue and white basin is painted in cobalt blue with a central rounded, enclosed auspicious character “BOK” within double lines, outside with two large stylized leafy sprays. The flat averted rim is decorated with chained floral scrolls and is applied with thick grayish glaze and raised on a high ringed foot. This item is in mint condition.

Measurements: 4” High, 14” Diameter
